MeteorShare is one of the most advanced programs of the moment for P2P file sharing, whether movies, MP3 music, applications, books or any other thing you want to download.

MeteorShare has a list of servers to which you can connect, but what is different to other similar programs is that it has no central server. Instead it uses a large quantity of servers distributed all over the world, and none of them is a master.

This means a notable increase in network power and better security against possible attacks. If a server falls, the rest continue the download, and so the longer MeteorShare is running, the more chance of completing downloads.

Its taskbar is very complex and instructive: you can see what is disappearing, what you have, the availability of data, actual downloads, etc.
